Food was amazing! Service is traditional San Felipe time line slow. There was a live band Friday night, but loud, and definitely caters to an older crowd. But it was a fun atmosphere! Definitely worth trying if you want something different than tacos.
Huge portions! Order the fruit plate (seasonal/ apples, bananas, pears...) comes with a nice fruit yoghurt. I had the vegetable omelette and it’s packed with vegetables! Not too greasy and just right flavour.
Lovely place hidden away behind the main street. Great service and always there to refill my coffee. yummy food I had Chile Relleno and 2 fish tacos cooked just right not too much batter like the state. Definitely come check it out especially if you're looking for a good breakfast.
Great service, Delicious food! We placed our order and the waiting time was minimal, as soon as our plates where served we where amazed. Large and hot plates with lots of food. Definitely you'll be pleased, the prices are real low. Finally we found a great place to eat in San Felipe!
My grandfather lives here in San Felipe and upon visiting for two weeks, we’ve eaten here at Chumpo’s multiple times! They have a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner of which many we’ve tried have been delicious. Especially their blueberry hot cakes for breakfast! ...
Great place! I had the chili Rellanos plate. They were cooked to perfection. Excellent service. Came back the next morning for yet another great meal, Breakfast ! 5 stars here for sure.
Breakfast servings are large and tatsted great. 3 eggs, hashbrowns, beans, and bacon. The huevos rancheros was also great. Fresh squeezed orange juice. We also had flour tortillas and were surprised at how good they were. We had lunch there a couple days before and it was just as good. Tasty enchiladas and tortilla soup. Friendly service.
In for breakfast with friends. Food great and in sufficient quantity and flavorful. Has been remodeled since last time I was there. Beautiful!
